Mobile MDs Patient Booking Services: How can we help you?

Important Information For Our Patients.

Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and current recommendations, changes have been made to the way we may deliver your care. Our goal is to minimize potential exposure to as many people as possible to help contain the spread of COVID-19. Our medical team will review your reason for booking and determine if a telephone or virtual consultation is needed and, in some cases, depending on the patient's location and availability of services, an in-person visit (hospital, clinic or house call) may be suggested.

If you or anyone in your home has a cough, cold, fever, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, red eyes, been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or have had contact with someone with symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you please let us know when booking your request.

We do not offer COVID-19 testing or information regarding testing. If you need to be tested for COVID-19, you can call HealthLinks at (204) 788-8200 or 1-888-315-9527. The most up-to-date COVID-19 information and resources for the public can be found on the Manitoba Health website and should be reviewed daily. https://www.gov.mb.ca/health/coronavirus/.

Please wash your hands regularly, stay home, avoid public venues and refrain from travelling. The more successful we are at social distancing, the best chance we have at minimizing the impact of this virus. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this. These changes will be regularly assessed and are in place until further notice.

Mobile MDs services are free of charge to patients with a valid Manitoba health card.

Doctors work independently. Mobile MDs links patients to independent medical doctors. Services are generally provided the same day they are arranged. We open at 8AM. Please book early as we frequently receive more requests than we can accommodate. Physicians address non-emergent medical problems only. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
